Join Noel for a master class focused on singing legit musical theater, or pop! We’ll begin with group warm-ups and exercises to explore resonance, registration, and vocal coordination, followed by individual coaching. Bring a song or approximately 32 bars to work on in class. Learn to approach legit with greater freedom, confidence, and vocal health. Open to all singers! Class is held at 590 A Main Street, Lynnfield.

Join Senior Associate Voice Teacher Stephanie James for a group class exploring the music and vocal style of Sara Bareilles! Bring a Sara Bareilles pop song (no musical theatre selections) and work on the technical and stylistic elements of contemporary pop singing. A focused online coaching session for singers looking for feedback on an audition song, self-tape, college audition/prescreen, or performance material. Submit your video or material in advance, and Noel will review it prior to your session so your appointment can focus on specific vocal, acting, storytelling, and audition feedback. Sessions take place via Zoom.

Private Voice Lessons with Noel Smith are held at Open Jar Studios in NYC’s Theater District. Lessons are designed for serious performers and focus on vocal technique, musical theatre and contemporary styles, audition preparation, repertoire coaching, and performance skills. Each session is individualized to the student’s goals and training needs. NYC lesson rate is $220/hour and includes studio room rental.

CJ Diorio, New York Acting Coach, will help to select and coach you on your monologues for auditions and college prep. He will also work sides and scenes for professional auditions for TV and Film. CJ holds a BFA Musical Theater from NYU TIsch The New School on Broadway. He coaches classical, contemporary and Shakespeare. Open to all students of any age.
