Naomi Bailis is a professional actor, director and teacher. Since 2001, Naomi has been on the full-time Theater faculty at Walnut Hill School for the Arts (Natick, MA), one of only three private high school conservatories devoted to the arts in the USA. She has taught Acting on the faculties of Boston University (Voice Department), University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, Xavier University (Acting and Directing Faculty), University of Cincinnati (Clermont) and the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. She has also taught Acting at the Southwick Studio in Boston, MA and has conducted Master classes in Mask to Voice majors at the Boston Conservatory. In 2009 Naomi was awarded the EE Ford Award for Excellence in Teaching. As an actor, Naomi has performed on Broadway and regionally across the United States. She has also directed at the professional, collegiate and high school levels.

Digital Performance Class for the Digital World! Learn how to make a great video for auditions, prescreens and classes. With Broadway artists, Christine Dwyer and Matt DeAngelis!!!
Prescreens? Master Class? Zoom Class? Self tape? This 3 week class will give you the tools! Week 1 - equipment setup, fixes, and acting/singing tools to work with a camera. . You will then have to prepare a video, where you will receive written feedback and review at next class. Week 2 - review videos and talk about fixes with both acting and equipment. Discuss what works and why. Week 3 perfect your videos and final review. Top video wins a 45 minute coaching with a teacher of choice! 3 Classes meet Saturdays 11 - 1pm.

Pop Class with Grammy Nominated Producer/Engineer John Weston of Futura Productions, Inc.
Pop students will prepare and original song or cover. Musical theater students can prepare a cut of a pop song. All music must come from your end, so make sure you have your tracks ready! We will work on Pop influences in singing and sound equipment to get the best sound out of an online performance.

In this 1.5 hour class we will be talking about what performance anxiety is - causes and symptoms, and then we will walk you through strategies and treatments to help move you forward. Junior / Senior Talk Back about the college process!

This free class is for Juniors and their parents to talk to Seniors and their parents about the process of applying for a Musical Theater or Pop program for college. Underclassmen and their parents are welcome to also join in. I will lead the discussion, along with recent college Grad, Bernie Baldassaro. Bernie has been living in NY for a year and will talk about his journey.. Please encourage your parents to attend!!
